ARE YOU READY TO SUPPORT IT?

Challenging question! Very. It is true that it must be his hobby and not yours. It is equally true that you must not be his best friend and you must not put your expectations of a missed musician on him. He will have friends who will support him in the musical development, tastes and mistakes he will make, but he is a child … and if you are not there, there is no one else.

ARE YOU READY TO DRIVE HOURS TO GO TO CONCERTS?

I mean, he will learn to play and he will want to go and see someone live, he is a child and he is curious, you can’t always tell him no.

ARE YOU READY TO GO TO THE BATTERY STORES EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE?

You don’t have to spend money, but getting around every once in a while to see some new or simply nicer tool where you will dream for months, for him it will be a really good experience, and going with a parent is the only thing he can do.

ARE YOU READY TO GO TO DRUM CLINICS?

If the concerts seem boring to you, you should try to sit down and listen for 4 hours to a drummer who talks about drums and occasionally play solos for 20 minutes. If the battery is not your passion it will not be fun, but he will be mad and your support will be fundamental.

SO I’m GIVING YOU THE URGE …

I do not want to discourage anyone, but we will only let you understand that order on Amazon is not enough, buy and then make it difficult for him because he does not receive support. The battery is a fantastic instrument and when it grows, if the passion has remained alive, it will play with a band and going to see it will be great satisfaction. It will also be wonderful to see it full of interests and passions.

And passions for boys are really everything.
